What’s on in July Curation

Although the weather outside doesn’t really call for white but these wines are just too delicious not to be shared and tasted.

This week, I have selected for you three classics from amazing and well known producers.

Schloss Johannisberg Gelblack Riesling from Rheingau. The estate was founded by Benedictine monks more than 900 years ago and it is presumed to be the oldest Riesling estate in the world.

Domane Wachau Gruner Veltliner Smaragd 2015. This producer remains the largest in Wachau, working with 250 growers and cultivating approx 450 ha. Wachau Wines are categorised in a three-tier hierarchical system: Steinfeder, Federspiel and Smaraged (taking its name from the emerald lizard who basks on terraces).

Moreau- Naudet Chablis focusing on organic practices in the vineyard, fermented in stainless steel. Lean style Chardonnay.

Enjoy!
